A reading experience for a long-form journal that treats the screen with the same care as the printed page.
The challenge
Atlas had beautiful writing trapped in a generic CMS template. Readers bounced within seconds and rarely reached the end of a piece.
Our approach
We rebuilt the reading experience around typography and pacing — measured line lengths, intentional breaks, and imagery that breathes between paragraphs.
The outcome
Average read time tripled and completed reads climbed sharply. Atlas now licenses the template to two sister publications.
